Instructions for
Viewing, Downloading, & Sending Slideshows
Windows Computer

For best results: |

1.
Download and install the free PowerPoint Viewer. |
|
2. Download slideshows to your computer to view them! |
|

To view the slideshows you must
install the free PowerPoint Viewer! |
|
No password is
needed to download and view when using the PowerPoint Viewer! |
|
3. Download
and send as attached file to others! |
|
|
|
If you use
Microsoft Internet Explorer or the PowerPoint program to view the
slideshows,
it will ask for a
password, just click on 'Read Only' to open and view the slideshow. |
|
If you are using
OpenOffice.org, you need to install the 'PowerPoint Viewer'. |
Mac Computer
|
|
To view and share the slideshows: |
|
1.
Visit the 'Flash Slideshows' pages on our site to view the 'flash'
shows. |
|
2. Download the zip file of the flash shows to open and view on your computer! |
|
3. Send the zip file of the flash shows by email for others to view on
their computer! |
|

** PowerPoint Viewer is
not compatible with Mac computer. |
|
** Office 2008 for Mac
cannot view password protected slideshows. |

DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS
|

IMPORTANT NOTE:
You must make sure that your computer firewall or network firewall is not
blocking access to download the PowerPoint slideshows. If you cannot
download them that may be the problem. |
|
|
|
|
|
TO PLAY THE SLIDESHOWS 
|
|
Download FREE

PowerPoint Viewer |
|
 You
must have the 'PowerPoint Viewer' installed on your computer.
Follow the link on the right to download & install the PowerPoint
viewer.
|
Download & install the PowerPoint Viewer program to view the slideshows. |
|
If you
are asked what program to use to open the slideshow, choose the 'PowerPoint Viewer'. |
|

TO DOWNLOAD
/ SAVE SLIDESHOWS |

TO PLAY / VIEW ON YOUR COMPUTER
|
|
Click on the slideshow thumbnail or title, then click on 'Save' - or
right click, then click 'Save Target (Link) As...' & choose the
location (folder) to save it on your computer.
For 'zip files, it works the same way. |

Download the slideshow to your computer
Double-click on the slideshow file
icon in 'Windows Explorer' to view, or right-click the file &
choose Open. |

TO PLAY ACCOMPANYING SONG
|
|
Download the slideshow
file to your
computer.
Attach the slideshow file to your email message and send. For email
we suggest the smaller size (lo) if available.
|
|
Some
slideshows have an accompanying song. To
Play, click on [Song Title]
above the Thumbnail or right click to Download. |

Mozilla Firefox
To
View Online: Click on the slideshow title
or thumbnail, then click on 'Open with' & choose the program
'Microsoft Office PowerPoint'.
To Download: Right click thumbnail or
title & then 'Save Link As...' |
|
Microsoft Internet Explorer
To View Online: Click on the slideshow thumbnail or
title, then click on 'Open'. (The time needed for the slideshow to
appear on screen depends on your internet connection speed)
When asked for a password, click on the 'Read-Only' button to
open and view.
When the first slide fully appears wait for the show to
completely load (after about 10 seconds or when the text 'Turn on your speakers' flashes off
& back on)
Advance
slides by clicking your mouse, or using the arrow key
,
PgDn key, or scroll wheel.
[ NOTE: ~ online viewing with
Internet Explorer ~ If slideshow music stops:
Press the 'End' key & advance to the end of the slideshow, then start the
show from beginning]

Apple Safari
To
View Online: Click on the slideshow title
or thumbnail, then choose 'Open' then choose 'Open' once again.
To Download: Right click thumbnail or
title & then choose 'Download Linked File' or 'Download Linked
File As...' |

Google Chrome
To View Online: Click on the slideshow title or thumbnail then, at
the bottom of your browser, click the arrow on the right of the
download and select 'Open'
' To Download: Right click thumbnail or
title & then 'Save Link As...' it is saved in your My Documents
'Download' folder . |

|
|
For those
who are signed up to receive slideshows free by email:
|
|
To change your email address, you have to make the change.
We cannot do that for you.
|
|

We do not have access to change your email address *
|
|
|
|
At the bottom of the email we send
you, there are links to open your subscription.
Find this text:
"You can change your
preferences
or
unsubscribe
from this mailing list at any time."
|
|
* To change your email, click on the
link:
preferences
-- on the page that opens make the change. A confirmation email will be sent
to your original email address, not the new
address. The change of address will not take effect
until you confirm it! If you do not have access to your
original subscription email address to confirm, you will have to open a new subscription to receive
the slideshows at your new email address.
